EpochGoogle Play asks every app that creates accounts for a web page like this one, so that deleting does not depend on still having the app installed.
In the app — immediate
Open Epoch, tap the gear at the top of Today to open Settings, then Delete account, and confirm. It takes effect at once.
Without the app
Write to support@rben.org with the subject "Delete my account".
- If you signed in with Apple or Google, write from that email address, or tell us which address you signed in with. We delete the account within 30 days and reply to confirm.
- If you never signed in, your account is anonymous: it holds no name, email address or phone number, so a message cannot be matched to it — by us or by anyone else. Deleting from inside the app is the way to remove it, and an anonymous account nobody has opened for 12 months is deleted automatically, unless a purchase was made on it.
What is deleted
Your profile, streak history, interests, entitlements, push tokens and any public listing (your name on the streak board or the supporters wall), at once and permanently.
What is kept
A purchase record, with your identity removed: tax law requires a record of each transaction, and it is what lets a future "Restore purchases" work if you come back. Deleting your account does not refund a purchase; refunds are handled by Apple or Google.
